The jacket is based on a classic tailored jacket, reinterpreted with elements of workwear to create a more relaxed and versatile design. Its defining feature is the pair of chest pockets, adding a functional touch to the refined silhouette. The jacket is finished with garment dyeing, giving the corduroy a rich and unique depth of color. To maintain consistency in tone, the fabric used for the jacket was also dyed specifically for the covered buttons before they were individually crafted and attached. The rounded buttons soften the formal impression of a tailored jacket, creating a more casual character that is easy to style. The lining is made from cupro, providing a smooth feel and comfortable ease of movement when putting it on and taking it off. Even when the season shifts to lighter clothing and short sleeves, this jacket works beautifully as a cardigan-like layer to carry with you. CORDUROY / 100% Cotton Corduroy is one of Dhal’s signature materials for the spring and summer seasons. For this collection, we have selected fine-wale 16W corduroy. The narrow ribs create a stable structure while maintaining a nostalgic and familiar character. Its soft, bright colors blend naturally into lighter spring and summer wardrobes. As a small personal note, some of my favorite 1970s Levi’s corduroy trousers — especially the 517 and 519 models — were also made from this same 16-wale fine corduroy. Corduroy is often associated with autumn and winter, but cotton corduroy has excellent moisture absorption, quick-drying properties, and breathability, making it a fabric that has long been loved by surfers and those who spend time outdoors. This season, the fabric is available in three colors: Off White, Light Blue, and Pink. These gentle tones add a soft and distinctive expression to spring and summer outfits, when layering becomes lighter and styling becomes more effortless.
